St Peters Bay is an active community, providing opportunities at all levels of ability.

We are proud to be the last natural ice rink on Prince Edward Island. The rink has hosted Eastern Kings Hockey League over the years. We have hockey and ringette tournaments throughout the winter season. We also offer private rental of the facility for teams. On Sundays we have sponsored free family skating from 2pm to 4pm. Please visit us on our Facebook Page.

The Ronnie MacDonald Memorial ball field has been newly renovated. The ballfield sits next to the St Peters Complex, and overlooks the community and the Bay. St Peters hosts a number of tournaments, and has opportunities for rentals and for local teams to play and practice. Find out more on our Facebook Page.

Hiking through the Greenwich adjunct of the PEI National Park is a popular activity for both locals and visitors. With trails up to 4.5 km, and the unique 700m long floating boardwalk over a marsh leading to a sandy beach, it is one of the can’t miss destinations on PEI.

The confederation trail runs through the heart of St Peters Bay. Built over the old railroad bed, the trail is a destination for hiking and biking through the summer months, and is a snowmobile trail in the winter. The stretch of the trial between St Peter and Morell is often considered the most scenic portion of the trail in PEI, being one of the few stretches that runs alongside the water.
